All episodes of Invincible in this season have had a single focus, finding out where the line lies, when it comes to good and bad, when it comes to killing or not, crime or fair work.
Thing is, the line is not always so firm, especially in a world where a single person can suddenly have the power to punch through a planet.
This last part isn't Hyperbole, this actually happened in the comics. Sorry for the extra spoiler.
But the question remains, will you deliberately help a career criminal kingpin who had previously used you and left you for dead just because he is better than the last Kingpin.

I have recently been watching Daredevil, and there is this line said by Madam Gao.
Now the context is different, but the main take away still applies, in situations where both sides lead to defeat, on must choose, and choose wisely, or others shall choose for you.
In the show of course this was a veiled threat to Wilson Fisk, but that doesn't mean the quote is wrong, and the irony of the fact that this episode focuses on a Kingpin as well isn't lost on me.
The thing is though, while in one instance(Daredevil) the comes off dialogue comes off as a wise old woman giving some wise old words but it is actually a veiled threat. In the other instance(Invincible) it appears as a straight up threat but is actually a statement of cooperation.
I am obviously talkin about the conversation in the first screen cap, where the Titan goes to Machine Head in order to get help to deal with Mr. Liu.
It may not be immediately clear but even this otherwise insignificant part of the episode is being used to make the message clearer, one sometimes has to choose the lesser evil in order to get the better outcome.
A lesson that invincible will soon learn if the comics are anything to go by.
