Star Wars Tales of the Underworld, finally we learn what happened to Assaj Ventress.(Spoilers!!!!)

This star Wars day on May the Fourth, the Fourth is once again with us as we get another Tales of something, from Lucasfilm.

This time it ain't the empire or the Jedi, but the Tales of the underworld, the third hidden pillar of good Star Wars Story telling.

This time in May the fourth Story Telling, we once again have two stories that parallel each other in terms of their plot points and story beats, but most importantly, we learn that Assaj Ventress got saved by the Love of the Jedi Quinlin Vas, man I really should get around to watching the clone wars now shouldn't I?

But anyways, I know enough to know that Assaj and Quinlin were together and that Assaj died supposedly.

But this backstory basically covers an interesting little adventure where Assaj helps save a vagrant young Jedi potentially an ex padawan to get to the path and escape, we don't learn much extra, it's an interesting story but that is the light side of the story, what about the Dark side of this story?

The Darker side is of course none other than Cad Bane, and this is where we learn more interesting things, even though the most interesting thing is in the Title, Assaj is fun to watch, and so I found that more entertaining, but there is more to talk about in Cad Bane's story.

And it really is something, I really thought that the top hat wearing man in the beginning was Cad Bane, I did not expect him to turn out to be one of the kids in the beginning.

This is a story about how childlike innocence soon turns into criminal actions in a moments notice.

Cad and his childhood friend are thieves Cad goes with the Top hat Guy, becomes a criminal, and then returns with his girlfriend to seek revenge for his mentor's death, in the meanwhile his childhood friend has become a police officer and their home has changed.

Cad however is here for revenge and so kills the Marshal who killed his Mentor and then gets ready to face down against an entire army of police officers, only to be betrayed by his girlfriend and taken in.

Some years go by his friend is the Marshal now and they fight to the Death, only for Cad to learn that even though his former best friend married his former Girlfriend, he probably did it to save her from social scrutiny and also save her life along with the Child she was carrying.

A child who just happens to look more Like Cad Bane than he does like his ex best friend Niro.

And so we learn what made Cad bane the Jedi Hunting Bounty hunter that he ended up being in his latter years, he had everything, and then childhood greed made him go down a path that there was no return from.

In a sense he has been manipulated by his circumstances, way more than he is just an evil bounty hunter.

This really did change how we see the man, too bad he is now dead killed by a much lesser version of Boba Fett.

And most people watching that show didn't even know these two had history.
