The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, Old habits die hard?

Movie Poster.

Now I walked into that theatre knowing full well that I had not seen the original movie, and so obviously would have no clue as to why certain things are even happening, like for example, why the fuck is Bowser small now?

Mini Bowser.

I mean if I were to hazard a guess, it would be because in the previous movie he obviously tried to kidnap princess peach right I mean that has always been his forte?

But it initially seems like he is a good guy?

And I was really rooting for him man.

But one evening with his junior and he is back to his original self.

Look I wish I could say it is some deep story, but honestly this movie is not, and that is what makes it so good.

It's good to just have a fun enjoyable movie in the middle of all this rush to be the next bob ross of series or something.

You see, Super Mario Galaxy has one job, introduce another princess this time Captain Marv... I mean Rosalina, and talk something about princess peaches past and in the way bring in more elements of the Mario Franchise, like of course:

Yoshi on Luigi's motorcycle.
Yoshi!

The stars, who are also Rosalina's children...?

Wait how... you know what, not even gonna think about it.

And obviously end with the epic Bowser falling into the lava, I like how at the end Jr. trying to stop the Mario team from getting to him, turns into him playing Super Mario Bros.

I wonder if that was also in the first movie.

And of course since they are a Nintendo property and fucking everyone is doing multiverse shenanigans, they're gonna bring in Star Fox, who in this movie is a Han Solo like.

Because here in this universe not only he is cool he will also do good, for the right price of course.

Star Fox in the Super Mario Galaxy movie.

I mean what do you expect?

My man needs to survive right?
