Invincible Season 4 Episode 5: I mean did they knock it out of the park or what??!!

I mean I complained in the episode 1 to 3 Blog post about the Animation going down the Drain, but then in the previous episode and in this one, they just took that and said: hold my fucking coffee.

So we ended the previous episode with Nolan and Allen coming to Earth to collect Mark for the Viltrumite War, Mark Laments that he definitely has no choice in the matter even though Nolan is definitely trying.

But it appears the man has a long way to go, I mean yeah he has improved, but every other place he has gone to and apologized has already been aware of Viltrumites and their culture, And for them a Vilrumite even accepting his mistakes, much less apologizing is like so out of left field that they can't help but be impressed.

When your impression in the gutter, any good thing you do is gonna be like absolute peak for anyone, but the same isn't true for people on Earth, he cannot just show up and apologize and expect them to take it, Mark tries to tell him that, but he still does it anyways.

I mean at least he answered this one correctly, and so maybe there's still some hope for this guy.

Given how Nolan has grown up, and how hard he is trying, I truly do feel bad for him, but I mean he has a long way to go, he still doesn't understand completely how his actions might affect people, and I mean exactly how long one year is for a Human.

But while we are talking about that, we have to mention how much of a G Art is, he is truly the best person ever, he still feels scared of Nolan and we see that very clearly as he hyperventilates after Nolan leaves.

But Nolan still shows up anyways in front of him expecting it to be like old times, and I mean on the whole I do believe that Nolan needed this, but there it is again, he is only thinking about himself.

And the line he says here cements it even further, I mean he comes to Earth meets Mark, Meets Debbie but then the one guy who still Idolizes him, and he is just like, I don't want to mess him up.

My man, give yourself some grace so you can give him some grace.

You do realize he remembers you right?

Thraxxans have photographic memories from Birth, I mean inaction is also action, no matter what you do, you are in his life, and the worst thing a parent can do to a kid is be an absentee.

But regardless of all that, Oliver makes his way onto the Venture, when him and Mark go off to meet Nolan.

But Everything that happens has a build up, Debbie lets Mark and Oli go only after they have one last Family Dinner, Eve decides to not tell him that she is Pregnant, and in the Mean Time Allen goes off to collect the Geldarian Warrior Tech Jacket.

And they make a she's the man reference as in this case Tech Jacket is a girl.

Still fifteen still helped by her dad who is chill enough to just let her go off to fight in a War, I mean one way or the other they are coming, and they all have a better chance of survival if they are all together right.

And she is introduced fighting a reference to another one of Robert Kirkman's franchises The Villain Walking Dread, I mean Walking Dead, come on!

I mean I love how her Dad is fine with her going to a fucking war, but not saying the Word Fuck.

That's the sign of a good parent, And why doesn't Jacket help out more?

Simply put She is still in Highschool.

Which works out for Oli because his Skateboarding friends aren't his age anymore, he quite literally outgrew them.

And so obviously the only two highschoolers connect over their shared youth and start playing Video Games.

Now I might be looking too much into this but are they going for a Romantic Angle or something?

I mean Idk, maybe, maybe not.

They go on towards Tallescria and we get another harsh reminder that there is a spy in the midst of the Coalition of Planets, as Viltrumites attack the Venture, Talia and the crew are forced to leave Oliver, Mark, Nolan, Allen and Zoe Thompson(Tech Jacket) Behind.

And as if the shock of that wasn't enough.

We have Mark Finally seeing that Conquest Survived.

I mean Earth is finally Viltrumite Free Cecil but you done fucked up my guy, you done fucked up.

Mark Immediately gets to it to kill Conquest for a final time but to begin with Conquest Tries to do to Oliver what Omni did to the Red Rush.

But this time in a moment of Redemption, Nolan punches the Shit out of him.

Oliver goes to a nearby Planet to breathe after being punched around a bunch because all things considered, he is still growing.

Conquest being the Psycho he is really wants to go after Oli but Invincible... completely determined to not let him get away this time, drops one of the coldest lines ever.

Invincible goes around the fucking planet as Conquest tries his best to throw him off including Straight up disemboweling him but Mark Keeps his promise, Conquest does not breathe again.

Nolan and Oliver go after Mark just as he kills Conquest, while Tech Jacket and Allen sneak onto the Viltrumite War Ship to escape their sensors.

And things will never be the same again.
