Now, Iron Fist Season one may not have been the best thing ever that Netflix has had to offer us, but that wasn't to say that it still wasn't a Darn good show, at least by the end, it was mostly towards the beginning and because of the strange way the set up for the Hand was handled in the defenders that the show had problems, towards the ending the show had a very good arc and a very good conclusion.
As such now that the worst parts of the Show had been done, and it actually has some pretty interesting things to do and say, things such as, actually have Danny use the titular Iron fist more often, like shown above where he uses it through his pistols, but that is yet to come, the first thing to know is Danny Rand is now moving boxes, as said in the previous appearance by the Iron fist in the second Season of Luke Cage.
And also he is living his new Humble life in what used to be the Chikara Dojo/Coleen's house alongside his girlfriend Colleen.
And for a season that is apparently so much better than the last one, this one connects surprisingly well to the previous one, in fact it pretty much begins with the set up that was done in the previous season, with Joy and Davos working together in a makeshift alliance to take down Danny and Ward.
One would ask why does Joy want to take down Ward and she is more than happy to explain it in her and Davos's own words.

But what did Joy and Davos do together?
Well if you are a reader of the comics then you will know that Davos is actually the alter Ego of another Chi enhanced warrior also native to K'un-L'un who stole the fist from Danny after he lost the fight with the previous contender Wendel Rand.
Well he didn't loose the fight, Wendel Rand was the adopted son of K'un-L'un's then ruler Lord Tuan who then called the fight between the two.
He is also the son of the Thunderer Lei Teng.
In this version, he lost to Danny and Lei Teng called the fight and Lord Tuan does not exist.
So...
That is exactly what he does, my man comes to the scene knocks out Danny with the help of a hired mercenary named Walker and gets a tattoo done on him with the Crane sisters representing the steel serpent and steals the power of the Fist.

And like every single villain who steals the power of the main hero, this man goes completely mad with Power.
And as any man mad with power he decides to remake New York in his own image, because obviously a man with a stick so far up his Arse that you can see it when he yawns is going to have problems with the one city that is known for its diversity and messiness, new York is full of people of all walks of life and all sorts of criminal gangs.
And now that the Hand is gone there is a power vacuum, a vacuum that demands to be filled and will be filled by whoever claims it first, the current two claimees of this spot that the show at least chooses to focus on are the Hatchets and the golden tigers.
Of the two, the Hatchets have been introduced in the previous season of Iron Fist as a secondary antagonist to the Hand and the then and current owners of the Red Hook port.
A port which becomes very important in Daredevil Born Again which is the entire reason we are even doing this innit.
The Hatchets and the Golden Tigers are in the middle of a brewing Gang war called the Triad war because this is China Town.
The Tigers want back control of the port as they have had it since forever, but the Hatchets don't want to give in, to stop the War Danny suggests a compromise but the Hatchets wont consider it any longer as the Tigers killed the leaders son.
The only reason the leader even entertains this conversation is because him and Danny have a respect for each other.
That would help were it not for the fact that Davos also had a deal with the Hatchets that they could not follow through on due to the war and so Davos gives him a stroke, in steps as a replacement his wife who trusts Danny and Colleen at first but after Danny blows a Parley due to his paranoia caused by a police group following them, she doesn't anymore.
Its also worsened when Danny tries to talk to Mr. Yang and it causes an already stroke having man an anxiety attack as he tried to convey a single message Hancock 212.
Obviously the Wife doesn't get it and misinterpretation leads to further problems.
All this to say the war keeps growing until... Davos comes in and fucking starts killing everyone.

The main theme of this season is power and its dynamics, how it shifts, how its shifts can affect a city, a person, what it does to someone when they gain too much of it, etc. Etc.
We begin this season with Danny learning to use the fist more regularly and doing some good old fashioned vigilante work, the themes are brought up about how this and the growing Triad war is changing Danny as he is obsessed with it, mostly because currently in his life he lacks purpose and because Matt Murdock asked him and the other defenders to take care of the city with what was presumed to be his dying breath, I mean we of course know it wasn't, but Danny doesn't.
And this discussion then shifts and changes as the fist is stolen from him by Davos and then he becomes the literally worst nightmare that someone with that sort of power can represent, a tyrant.
And as second seasons with healthy relationships go, obviously if it begins healthy it must devolve into crazy land because of the growing conflicts and obviously because of a third person who is also a Stalker.
Mary is someone Danny just ran into while working, i.e. shifting boxes of course.

Initially it was his coworker who was hitting on her but Danny just starts talking as a way to be polite and pretty soon it becomes very clear, very quickly that this sweet looking innocent travelling artist has a thing for dear old Danny boy.
And as the things go further it becomes even more clear that there is a little bit of something else going around the surface, like for eg, she faints in Danny's arms and gets taken to his and Colleen's place, then she leaves abruptly, she calls Colleen and then hangs up Abruptly.
Oh and she has spy photos of Danny, wait what?
Oh Do not worry though they were sent to her by Walker who was hired by Joy and Davos to spy on him if you remember.
They figure this out when Danny tries to have a dinner with them and Colleen and Ward to calm things down, wars doesn't show up though because he is too busy quite literally screwing around, and Joy and Davos leave to confront Walker as to why these pictures would get to Danny.
And then they learn that Mary did that, why would Mary have those pictures? Well because Walker has D.I.D. and Mary is an alter.
Triggered by strobe lights and the sound of falling water like rain.
Damn, that went dark real fast

And then but we know the Walker gets by this short coming and delivers Danny to Davos anyways, so what is up with ol' Wardy boy?
Well he is attending Na meetings tonget better at people and to get off of his addiction and to eventually fix things with Joy and he is also being spied on by Walker on the words of Joy.
He also, ends up screwing his sponsor and getting her pregnant.
Good Job Ward.
Its goes without saying that he messes this up multiple times by being himself and because he is caught in the middle of this super crazy emotional situation with his childhood friend, sister and his childhood friend's ex brother like/closest friend.
Doesn't help that he finds this out after he pushes Bethany(his sponsor who he got pregnant.) Away by being a drunk who is drinking for 7 hours straight at a Bar.

And so finally we have all the puzzle pieces for a wild joy ride, except we don't we still haven't talked about what Colleen has been up to this season?
Well Firstly appart from Misty she has completely stopped training anyone, which makes sense since her entire Chikara Dojo was basically a front for the Hand to recruit more helpless kids off of the street.
She has hung her Katana, turned her Dojo into just her home and living there with Danny, while she herself volunteers for a community center.
The same community center which is owner by the Hatchets Triad and the location of the final battle.
It is while volunteering for this place that she comes into contact with a box that had the logo of her family crest in a medallion and this launches her on a quest of her own aside from helping Danny with the Triads war, which she already doesn't want to do since it is a form of fighting at the end of the day.
While on her own quest she comes across a bunch of kids playing on being criminals but really they are just trying to survive while being stuck in the middle of Golden Tiger territory.
One of these kids is BB who is going to be very important later guys trust me on this.

Leading this group of misfits is a guy called Rhyno, and it is on his word that this Ragtag group of nobodies decides to become the hit squad of Davos.
Davos with the power of the Iron fist is too much of a problem and therefore Danny asks Colleen to break her vow of putting down the sword and train him, which she does, very very reluctantly, at least at first.
Because by the end of it all Danny, convinced that the power of the Fist is corrupting him convinces her to be the Iron Fist.
You see all that side plot about he family crest being on a medallion also had a story attached to it, the story of the Pirate queen of Pinghai Bay or Wu Ao-Shi, the first woman to defeat the immortal Dragon Shao Lao and take it's heart to become the Iron Fist.
Colleen's Medallion has an other side to it which has the Iron Fist's Brand on it.
So it turns out, there was a Reason Colleen and Danny met, because maybe the Fist belonged to Colleen anyways.
Too bad in the path to get this fist to Colleen, the kid's gang goes full Rogue and kills both Rhyno and then BB.

And so, the new Iron Fist is born and Danny somehow gained his powers back anyways and then uses them to charge up a couple of Guns like Orson Randall in the comics who was the Iron Fist before Danny Rand.
Right after of course sneaking off to Japan behind Colleen's back and explaining this only in a letter(wait what?).
Colleen also charges her sword with the power of the fist, which is also from the comics when Danny picked up Colleen's sword, but what is entirely new is Colleen Having the fist, if Netflix marvel had continued, this would probably had resulted in a daughters of the Dragon series alongside Misty Knight.
And now that Danny is going around trying to figure out how and why Davos got his hands on the corpse of a previous Iron Fist, I mean he needed a piece of the brand to make his Tattoo but he could have just used the brand from Danny, I mean it's not like he had any qualms about hurting him?
Does it have to be a no inactive Iron Fist? They don't address this, or maybe I just missed it.
Anyways, now that Danny is doing that and still somehow has his Chi powered Fists, they were probably going to have a Future where Danny goes back to K'un-L'un (I mean it's destruction is an assumption no?
Cause in the comics, K'un-L'un is one of the seven Kingdoms of Heaven and it is in an alternate dimension, it could simply have shifted locations, and maybe they were going to get to meet some of the other Kingdoms of heaven and their respective Champions.
MORE CHI ENHANCED WARRIORS!!! YAYYYYY!!!!!
Now that marvel has taken this over, potentially this will have a crossover with Shang-Chi and we will finally get the version of the Fist we really want to see, because (and I am ready to die on this hill) Iron Fist is actually quite a cool character.
