Lanterns Episode 2: I am the Night!(IYKYK)(Spoilers)

So Everyone saying this show is allergic to the color green... what do you have to say for yourself?

I mean I guess far apart from the Red Lanterns, you guys are the real red Flags now.

But coming back to the universal Green Flags

This episode begins by John getting splashed by some ice cold water and waking up to Hal saying fuck you to the Guardians.

The general mistrust of the Guardians is really a Linch pin in this episode specially because they straight up created two of the most likely threats in this season.

The Man hunters and the Red Lanterns.

And so... Antaan is Atrocitus right?

Like the story is way too similar to be a coincidence innit?

But apart from that lets talk about the fact that Kerry is named Kerry Kane and that happened before today and that totally didn't clock in that Kane is a very wealthy family in Gotham from where Bruce's mother hails.

And so does her brother Jacob Kane father of none other than Katherine "Rebecca" Kane also called Batwoman....

And hold the fuck on this isn't all there is to this fucking rabbit hole.

In the last episode she is talking to someone who should know that she is not going to talk about an active investigation and then asks to say Hey to "BARB" for her.

So chances are she is speaking to Jim gordon in that scene.

Also... is she Batwoman?

I hope not.

Cause Batwoman is lesbian.

John goes back to get Hal's Lantern after trying and failing to fly and instead just making a bird that flies.

A bird, that he is tasked with keeping alive for the entire episode.

And we finally see the Green Lantern Suit.

Something that Hal no longer cares for, at least not as much as he does for Earl Jordan the Green Plant and Man.. Eater...

So after getting caught and explained nicely by Not Atrocitus John returns with the Bird still alive to the same Diner where what do you know, Zoe Macon still exists.

And based on the conversation it makes me think that she is not too much of a villain, she loves Macon but doesn't really approve of everything he does and so sometimes she just needs a "break..."

So the Internet took it upon itself to theorize that she is a current( or future/past) Star Sapphire.

Dunno if this is the same one, Like I said, haven't read that many of the comics.

I guess Love=Star Sapphire I guess.

But what the fuck is Macon up to?

well for one the dead aliens get detected by the metal detectors meaning that they are Alien Detectors, so because Waylon didn't get detected, Kerry thought he was not alien.

Very wrong.

And it seems that Not Atrocitus is one of the same species as Waylon.

Because he can also explode himself and threatens to do so if the Man hunter hiding in Rushville isn't found in 48 hours.

So I wonder who it is, maybe it is that NDA boss of William Macon, who by now everyone is theorizing to be the black hand

No wait not that one.

Wasn't he a popular Black Lantern?

Okay no that's not all he is, he is the Black Avatar, but really, he is this villain who has a tech-based energy-drain cosmic divining rod before becoming the avatar of death.

So is William Macon William Hand?

Who the fuck knows.

But once Hal learns about the Manhunters and puts together that Abin Sur was probably the Lantern who caught the genocidal man hunter and it killed him and Hal got the ring, he immediately speed runs the Lantern Oath and once John is sleeping...

Hal flies to Owa.

So now that no one in Rushville wants extra scrutiny from Hal and he has been warning shotted by John's Girlfriend's husband and that hospital he was in has only him and all the equipment is freshly brought out making it an obvious front.

What the fuck will happen next?

Well for one Kerry and Hal are an old married couple and Kerry doesn't want William to be the top dog.

But also... if you know Batman which you do cause you are from Gotham and they be skipping origin stories...

What did you think was going to happen when you tried to deceive a detective like Hal?

Or was it intentional to get him to back off?

I doubt that that will work.

They using Fear like Sinestro I guess.

And we finally got the flying green glow, I guess it only appears in space/when suit on.

Does the suit have special properties like space breathing or something?

Does the Bird mean something to Johnny John?

Who did he love that betrayed him, is he referring to Zoe? I hope not, you don't love in less than a day, unless they got it on for more than a day(they didn't cause Hal said its been 24 hours.)

Was it his father?

Who the fuck was it?

When will know these mysteries from John's past?

I don't know.
