Lanterns Episode 5: and Somehow there are still 3 episodes left!!

So I guess some things are as they seem as the show gears up for a sort of mid-season Finale, with the entirety of Rushville Nebraska gears up to kill the ultimate Green Flag(Haha) in John Stewart.
Wait what?
No No he IS the Green Flag, this was the sarcastic Green Flag cause he is a Green Lantern.

Ah yes, how can you ever reject this absolute diamond!?
So the last episode ended with Hal crashing the Rental into a pole with John still in it.
So this episode obviously begins with...
Kerry running from Gotham... what??
Well, I think this scene was present to establish two things straight away, which is important because it means the people behind this show did their homework, they did not just leave it up to the audience to fill in the blanks, which sometimes is a good thing if done in moderation, specially in a mystery/detective show.
Because shows like this thrive on the audience not knowing what is going to happen next, so in general if a show gives you an answer then it means they don't want the audience to focus on it, which can mean one of two things, either a) its a shield to hide something or b) it is not the main mystery.
So which one is it this time?

Well the two things are: Yes Zoe is the Manhunter( I mean she did hunt one kind of man if you know what I mean) But more importantly, she saved Sherrif Kane, meaning...

Yeah there is not much more to talk about here other than figure out which of the million Gotham gangs she was running from, the credits call one of the Thugs a Croc Coat, which like..

Eh.. he used to be a gangster in the old days...

But also Black Coats so maybe Black Mask?

Oh God not that one please.

But on another note, we were wrong about the Red Lanterns, because Antaan just exploded.
So like... why that you guys' main attack tho?
You don't have anything else?
But one thing that we did learn about the Manhunter from him was that it is a right little shit, and has "coitus" with the strongest to control them and hence always prefers the female role, because it turns out patriarchy is pretty much everywhere.
But also it takes on the under privileged "skin" in order to go unseen ad gain power, because what better way to infiltrate a society as an outsider than being disguised as an Outsider.

The one thing I took from this episode is if Hal had let him, John would have helped him and let him be the Green Lantern for as long as he wanted, at the very least he would have kept him around as a companion.
No way Hal is taking that pay cut though.
Hal thinks that if he delivers the Manhunter the Guardians will let him stay, but they just want a company guy, an organic Manhunter.
which is what they have been building John to be.
Too bad that after all is said and done, he doesn't want it...

So I guess that's where Guy comes in.

A GENOCIDE MACHINE ISN'T A MISTAKE LEANNA THATS NOT HOW THAT WORKS...
