Vision Quest Episodes 3 and 4, Are we alive?

Bearded man in black hat and glasses sternly speaks to a woman in a warm-lit car; subtitle says You're as dumb as a bag of hammers.

There is one thing I failed to mention in my episode 1 and 2 blog post, and that is this Photo of the original Human Torch Jim Hammond.

Two men in suits face off in a room with a fiery painting; subtitle reads Unstable, destructive.

And that is because All things considered, I had not had much research on this topic, I mean I am not that big on the whole: "This is the Original" Thing.

Personally, I only interact with something when it is relevant to what I am doing at this moment, and given that I already have a huge connection to the name Human Torch

Deadpool stands behind a shouting man in a dusty scene; bold caption reads FLAME ON!

I did not look into the original Human Torch.

I thought it would just be a case of This guy, but before! I did not expect an entire fucking Android that literally felt so much he set himself on Fire.

And now that I have gone back and seen some of the Trailers, I realize that the Original Human Torch is actually fucking interesting and worth my time.

Almost like I should have done that already.

But you learn as you go along.

The other Interesting thing that this show is touching on is: What if people actually came back as AI?

Cyborg-like person with glowing red eyes in a dim chandelier-lit room, raising a fist under blue light, intense and ominous.

And it turns out they are not very happy about it.

Pretty much every AI is now confirmed to be based on a real person, and as a comics Nerd I am 50-50 on this.

On the one hand, this is accurate to the Comics, and on the other hand, this was written in a time when Reviving dead people with AI wasn't like an almost real thing.

But to the shows credit it does show how disturbing this can be.

All things considered though, I did not expect Friday to make me cry this episode, but she Did... thanks man..

Split-screen meme with tense close-ups of two movie scenes; text reads Friday? Life functions critical. and I was there when Tony died.

She blames herself in a very Human way, and speaking of things being Human, the Vision after suffering his injuries needs to be turned off and on again...

Essentially he needs to die and be brought back.

And while it wasn't any surprise that the scene plays like a man being defibrillated back to life, I still was hit by how human it made him seem.

Vision throughout episode three is very much a Dad to Tommy.

And at first I thought that they were going to do the cliche of "you can't compute parenting" but later I realize what is actually happening is Vision trying his best to not see what is right in Front of him.

It is a Father not listening to his Son.

And in this episode they throw any doubts to him not being Vision and Wanda's son when he phases through a pane of Glass.

Hand reaches into a dim vending machine with colorful energy drinks and Walkers chips, labels glowing.

His Lightning is Golden like Vision, and somehow I do not feel like he is the Flash...

Lisa Molinari gets called coat of arms cause she has a coat with fake arms, and we get to see what was obviously the Halloween episode with Edith reading the Bible at Jocasta possessing vision.

Elderly bearded man in glasses screams under red light, with caption The power of code compels you!

Oh yeah and Ultron is just screaming this, now knowing that this show is all about AIs getting Families and Jocasta is Ultron's Bride in the Comics, I actually think it is going to be revealed that Ultron is also based on a real human Avatar, and Vision is probably based on the Original Human Torch.

But all of that brings us to the end where Ultron is Given "the Wheel" in a moment of Desperation, and while he is still with as little of regard for human life as before.

Woman fires a glowing orange energy beam in a dark room while a man stands behind her; a mannequin glows in the background.

It does not seem he is in his I want to kill everyone mode, in fact he wishes to talk to Tommy.

Three-panel shot of a serious man in a black suit on a couch in a warm-lit room, speaking with subtitles on screen.

It would seem that Ultron will now be the Magneto of Synthezoids, an Anti-Hero just like Palladin, and hey! we actually learn that like every one else he is also in an identity Crisis, because he isn't a Palladin by blood.

Bruised man in dark room under red and blue light, staring ahead as hands hold his head; subtitle reads he gave you a code.

It seems the Trilogy all about Family and belonging is once again about Family and Belonging but just from the point of view of an AI.
