X-Men'97 Season 2 Episode 6 You don't Need to be controlled.

The X-Men are all back to their time(FINALLY!!!) and yet the Government outlaws their activities outside of running Xavier's school of gifted youngsters.

And that really is silly of Cooper considering what happened the last time she tried to go against the Mutants, but I guess old habits dies hard.

Now, while the last episode was Wolverine coming to terms with everything that happened to him and regaining his claws and this episode literally begins with the Professor trying his best to come to terms with Magneto's death.

In fact Rather trying to change it.

NO HE DOES NOT!

But The Prof trying his best to change shit in the past through the Danger room is the main catalyst in this episode's plot.

We knew that Danger was coming from the Trailers but what we didn't know is that she was going to be a throwaway side villain to make Polaris rise to her new status as "The Heir of Magneto"

Polaris gets thrown off of X-Factor because she went after WILLIAM STRYKER!!!

I mean I get the politics of it all but that is WILLIAM FUCKING STRYKER!!!! Goddammit.

My God. Yes I said God on purpose what you gonna do about it?! Punk!?

But after all of that, when she is helping Bishop and the New Headmistress Storm(yes that happened.) with the new students, the Danger room hacks the X-Mansion to create a false alarm and attack everyone locked inside lethally.

Ultimately to trick Polaris into giving her all the power she needs to get a physical body and then attack the prof at the wreckage of Genoshia.

With the Help of Polaris they are able to get away with no major losses and one major win(in Polaris becoming Magneto 2.0.)

And Danger makes Professor X realize that he can just recreate the country of Genoshia with the X-Men on international waters with X-Corp.

Well that's interesting.

But while Cooper continues to be an idiot and not back off(AGAIN!!!) Apocalypse rises... but this time in the 90s.

And what else is he going to do other than revive Remi the Gambit Étienne Mon Ami LeBeau as his new horseman of Death.

And given that this man is now representing the literal Final Destination(Haha!) of everything his normal playing cards become Tarot reading Cards.

And the man is all black now...

So that's what's gonna happen now.
