Reality is a strange thing, what it is, and what it is not, can be a real point of contention for many people, and rightfully so, because reality wears many masks, many disguises and any one observing can be bamboozled for lack of a better word.
People say that those who hide behind a mask are cowards, lowly thieves, criminals, who have something to hide, yet, often, a thief is trying to fend for himself, not all thieves, but a significant proportion, and if they are say in a crime organization, they are most likely a lowly grunt who is being oppressed by those above him.
In a sense, those in power often used masked men of their own, whether it is Oscrop "Deploying" Spider man as their superhero "asset" in Friendly Neighborhood Spiderman.
Or it is a politician funding certain organizations that they probably shouldn't be, a mask isn't just a singular thing you know.
As such, when it comes to people like the White Tiger or Daredevil, people like Fisk aren't mad that they hide behind a Mask, they are mad that these masked "devils" aren't in their control, and that they do the Job better, they know what the right thing is, and they just do it.
Someone with a Mask has something to hide, yes, but maybe that something is the fact that they are one of the few who realize the true face of someone high up and actually wants to do good.
Obviously do not trust every person with a mask, usually that something to hide is the fact that they want to stab you to death.

But it is not like Kingpin isn't wearing a mask, being the mayor gets him the best mask, PR, the illusion of caring, while behind the scenes he games the system.
I once said, that Angels and Demons are in a constant battle to be more like one another without crossing over, A Demon wants to be trusted and hence tries to be more like an Angel, but sees actually being one as a Cage, and hence tries to resist crossing over.
An Angel sees the millions of lost and errant souls and those who would use them for their own gain, and as such tries to bring down their wrath cause destruction where it is needed, to stop Destruction, but obviously crossing over would make them no different from those they fight, so they don't.
But so very often the boundary between mask and the one underneath becomes blurred, and so Angels fall, and Demons rise.
The good and the bad are often uncomfortable like each other, separated by a thin line they say.
But Demons can't be allowed to run free, and Angels need to be saved from those who would chip away at them and keep their pieces to themselves.
And for reasons such as this, the court exists, to unmask the Truth and to decide who gets what treatment, order in Chaos.
Unfortunately for things like this, the court needs to be a separate entity from the world, but by simply existing, it no longer is.
The court can therefore be played, for those willing to game the system, it just becomes another thing to manipulate, and for those believing in the system, it becomes their only hope.
A court Trial is therefore a perfect depiction of both the external and internal battle between good and evil.

This battle rages profusely inside Matthew, the last episode ended by him being forced to defend himself, the anger exploded inside him, he let the Devil out.
And now its clawing its way back out, as Matt desperately cilngs to the system, hoping that it will work, and it almost did.
But the thing about the system is, it will always have limitations.
In the very first case that matt and foggy took in Season 1 of Daredevil, the client was a straight up cold blooded killer.
Matthew took the case in order to play the long game, get closer to the truth and he made a statement.
The court has a jurisdiction, and it only works within that Jurisdiction, a person maybe guilty outside it's walls, and outside the walls he may face justice in a different way, but inside these walls? That is a different story.
In that case he justified his defending of this very guilty man by the fact that he would go after him later as his Darker half.
Here, a corrupt cop uses this same reasoning to kill an actually very innocent White Tiger.
Matt doesn't realize but the Denial he so desperately clings to has already shattered, it shattered the last episode, but now there is no hope.
The mask of the Devil calls to him again.
And what's more, the Corrupt cops doing this kind of justice use the Punisher's name and logo to do so, I haven't watched his series, so I may be missing some context, but Frank Castle is returning from the Trailers, and it will be interesting to see if he is actually behind these killings or if he is just the inspiration.
