Daredevil Born Again Season 2: Episode 7: Order and Chaos.(Spoilers Mate.)

The above is an excerpt from Daredevil season 1 episode 9 where Father Lantom and Matt discuss if the Devil is a real thing or just a concept.

Since Season 1 this dichotomy has been established, Kingpin is the Devil who dresses as an Angel, who has control of everything in the city, and Matt is an Angel who dresses as the Devil.

But while all of this has always been established in some sense, it has always been a metaphor, but by this episode, this metaphor comes close to almost being literal.

Order, the scape goat of every dictator trying to assert his control over everyone and everything.

Kingpin wants to grandstand on Karen as much as he can, he knows that after yesterday he is loosing the city slowly, and right now he just wants to drag someone who caused him a lot of pain through the mud.

And his confidence is reaching new levels as he disregards the attorney general and sends assassins to have the Governor killed.

But it seems there are a lot of road blocks ready to stand in his way, not just in the city standing against him, but in Daniel who refuses to give up someone he genuinely cares for.

In Charles who after his betrayal has decided to no longer back Fisk.

In Cherry who has returned in spite of his recent heart attack.

In Matt and Kirsten who fight their case for Karen, with Matt coming out of hiding specifically for this risking his life for it.

And in Brett Mahoney who is back from the Netflix series to once again help a Karen out to meet her devil of a boyfriend.

Damn when someone said that the episodes got better as they went on they weren't lying.

I mean I did ask in my Punisher season 2 post that it is strange that Brett didn't show up and I guess the higher ups heard my cries because he is.

And as Daredevil wakes up Bull's eye, we also get mention of Special Agent Ray Nadeem, who is probably the only good depiction of an immigrant of descent from the Indian subcontinent I have ever seen.

I am glad that this soft "reboot" is just straight up a continuation at this point.

And speaking of continuation, the Heather is definitely Muse 2.0 story line finally decides to continue as Wilson exposes that he knows she stole one of Vanessa's earrings and yet decides to send her to evaluate Karen.

And in a battle of the ex vs the current girlfriend epic enough to last for the ages Heather tries to spring the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory on her with the "I like Mechanics Magazines question."

And Karen just laughs it off saying she can probably game it.

And Heather just unloads Karen's past, asking if her brother Kevin(Did you know that the real name of the Deep from the Boys is also Kevin, that's a coincidence.) was Molesting her.

And when Karen fires back, Heather just plain unloads.

The court-case is epic and going precisely the way the earlier one was, except of course Matt is here.

They question the AVTF agents and the three Judges on the Tribunal remind Kirsten that there is no Jury for her theatrics, except there is, the jury of public opinion.

AVTF doesn't leave after the Trial and Matt is attacked while leaving the courtroom.

And as he escapes praying to saint Jude in Lantom's church seeking refuge, as Jessica walks in, on the other side, Daniel gets beaten up by buck for letting BB go, and as he hesitates with the gun right over Daniel's head.

He asks a single question.

I wonder if that is foreshadowing mate.

And Speaking of Jessica, this week we get it confirmed that the other powered person who agreed to Charles is indeed Luke cage who is off "doing the god's work" as Charles said.

I trust nothing out of the Liar's mouth as he says the men sent were just to Deter Jessica.

Yeah sure Jim, with grenades.

It seems Jessica is leaving, now that she has Danielle, and her one reason for coming here is over.

This place needs her, but also needs Daredevil.

Matt coming back as a Lawyer is a real genius move, because he is the Heroic blind lawyer who saved Mayor Fisk's life, and him defending someone against Fisk is huge with the public.

And it seems in the Finale, Matt will unmask Daredevil, doing exactly what Fisk feared and as well allowing him to testify for everything he couldn't till now, Northern Star, the story behind Muse, what the AVTF did to Hector Ayala, which they did try to bring up in the Trial but its shot down.
