Star Wars: Maul Shadowlord: Episodes 7 and 8 You did this.

Maul v/s Marrok and eleventh brother.

Maul Shadow Lord is going in a direction that is making me more and more interested to go back and check what all I have been missing, Tales of the Jedi for example, because the second inquisitor that Marrok brings in to help with Maul is from Tales of the Jedi and as per my understanding this guy is also Smoke like Marrok.

The Eleventh Brother and Marrok being the only two inquisitors on this case is very telling because if you remember that the reason they are smoke is because they are being kept together with the use of Nightsister Magick.

And if you also remember, Sidious decided to end all the Nightsisters during the Clone Wars by using General Grievous and the separatist droid Army.

So the fact that these are the two inquisitors that get called for a guy who is a Zabrak from Dathomir the home place of the Nightsisters is very telling, because why the fuck would the emperor willingly send a Nightsister puppet on this extremely important mission, there seems to be some manipulation going on behind the scenes is what I am saying.

Marrok came here due to it and the he called the eleventh brother.

Too bad for both of them that they are now fighting against a direct apprentice of Darth Sidious who is not known to give up that easily regardless of how bad the situation is.

Maul traps Marrok and eleventh brother in Rubble.

The Fake Surrender says it all, Maul is ready to go to any lengths in order to, in his words, not let him do this to anyone else.

This of course being the state Maul has been left in.

Now not having seen a lot of the earlier Star Wars shows I possibly do not understand a lot of context about what is going on in the flashbacks specifically when it relates to Savage Opress, yes I googled him to learn his second name, and no I did not go further.

Maul however does seem to be making some headway with Devon as she is beginning to see the advantage of having him around, not enough though as when given the choice she still chooses to run away from him.

A choice which results directly in the Capture of Rylee Lawson by the empire.

Two boots, who already has given up some of his identifying traits because they do not fit empire regulation still fails to understand that the empire probably isn't what it claims to be, he is too innocent for this world.

Two boots is too innocent for this world

But it seems as Two Boots continues seeing evidence one after another that the Empire is not following their own set protocol, that they themselves are a worse threat than the ones they are putting away.

As he learns that they killed Chief Klyce where it is registered that she is held for questioning.

He makes a decision.

Lawson cuts a deal with him, him for his son, but two Boots just up and joins the rebellion.

Speaking of Rebellion, it seems Davon is a "good" version of Anakin, with her piloting, and using their powers to go on the offensive, her disregard of Jedi Code and her general rebellious nature, it is very obvious.

Except maybe, unlike him she has more awareness about what is right and what is not, but who knows, maybe I will be proven wrong.

Devon, Rylee, Daki, Two boots and Lawson.
