Anyways, that drama aside, If you haven't seen that movie or just don't know in general, then Cassandra Nova is a Mummudrai, a parasitic, non-corporeal entity from Marvel Comics' Shi'ar mythology, acting as a sentient "anti-self" that every person must fight in the astral plane before birth.

They are usually bodiless spirits of negative potential.

Now those of you who haven't read the comics and only seen Deadpool and Wolverine might be confused because Cassandra Nova definitely did have a physical body.

Yeah That's right, Just like her ability to traverse between the Astral Plane and the Physical plane, Ol' Cass has secretly gained the ability to traverse between the fictional world and the real world and actually peeled the skin off of the real Chris Evans.

And in order to hide the fact that her incredibly strong fictional character has transcended stacked universes and possessed Emma Corrin who is the Actress playing her in Deadpool and Wolverine, she systematically put Chris Evans back together and is now piloting him telepathically.

The most important though by the end of it all and actually the very first among all of them is Firecracker, the most believer amongst all of them, someone who is quite literally on Homelander's right hand, not my words, these are the words of the reverend who raised her since childhood.

It seems her arc is the same as that of Dedra Meero in Andor.

People who support Fascism with all their heart even giving up their very identity and go above and beyond for their "heroes" often end up slipping up as they become too invested in the cause.

And for someone who was plucked from obscurity and made "God's Right hand" What else can one expect?

Blind devotion leads Fire Cracker to take her Jesus Doll and throws it away(which was blurred for India, Fuck you amazon.) but before giving up Jesus she had but a moment's hesitation...

And this moment's lapse is all it takes for Homelander to throw away probably his most loyal supporter, the one who actually truly loved him.

And the strangest thing is, he would have let her go...

And if she had, she would have lived! It is actually her insistence on staying that got her killed.

And this woman painting herself as a "true American" is killed in the most Ironic way by the statue of an eagle by a man wearing the American flag.

And even stranger, is that I think she actually got through to him, she was actually giving him what he wanted, and that scared him.

This is the true problem with power, when you don't have to face anything that can challenge you, you just become more and deranged.

But this episode is about one shots right, where are the others?

Black Noir is an interesting case in the middle of all this, after Homie boi killed the previous Black Noir, this one was brought in as an actor, and he is not supposed to talk, as a mute of course.

To keep up appearances.

But a Supe isn't his true calling, that is acting.

But once again, all who go against the system or even just attempt to leave it, must be punished.

Unlike Firecracker who was punished by being forced to call her probably only father figure a pedophile, Black Noir doesn't exactly get Homelander's Ire.

He gets it indirectly from his subjugate.

Adam Bourke if you don't remember is the Zack Snyder Parody who sexually harasses literally everyone.

And the only reason I compare him to Snyder because of his #releasethebourkecut But after he was thrown off of every platform ever due to his repeated crimes, now the man is doing theatre.

And for all his bullshit, something he was rightly beaten up for by his assistant in Ryan's presence, Bourke knows how to say the right things to at least Noir.

And he doesn't even realize the Irony of bringing up the deep as an example, as Noir is also facing the Deep.

It is fucking awesome the genius of it, literally hitting two birds with one stone.

But Homelander himself made the Deep a deeply(hehe) insecure man baby who would serve him unquestioningly and he can't stand someone gaining Homie man's favor more.

Anyways, Noir ends his short being under deeps thumb once again, and ideally we should go to Terror next, but boy, that will have to wait.

But the basic point is, appart from Sony poking fun at it's own cinematic Universe(yes Sony has a hand in the Boys, I know, everyday we get new Surprises.) and a shit ton of Celebrity cameos some as themselves that mister Marathon runs through, this is to show that most of the Supes even do not like Homelander's rule.

He is literally taking everything they enjoy, but like I said, Soldier Boy isn't having it, in his strange way, he is breaking the cycle of violence by helping Homelander, I mean he was helpless, Soldier Boy could have taken his powers away.

But appart from all that one other person who is breaking the Mold is Butcher.

But in order to show that the Show chooses to show the perspective of his dog, Terror.

Anyways, this section serves a single purpose, Butcher is being depicted as... well... a butcher...

And terror being poisoned is a good way to show that, as it is genuinely horrific for a dog this age to eat chocolate.
